Bookkeeping for SMEs

Step 93 d.o.o. provides bookkeeping services for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in accordance with the Accounting Act, Croatian Financial Reporting Standards (HSFI – Hrvatski standardi financijskog izvještavanja), regulations concerning value added tax, income tax, profit tax, as well as all other regulations laying down rules for accounting and financial businesses in the Republic of Croatia.

Bookkeeping services include:

  • Set-up and management of books, including the journal or day-book, the general ledger, accounts payable sub ledger, fixed asset sub ledger, small inventory sub ledger and payroll sub ledger
  • Preparation of a listing of accounts payable and receivable
  • Business reports at client's request
  • Monthly and quarterly statistics reports
  • Preparation of basic financial statements:
    • income statement
    • balance sheet
    • narrative (notes to financial statements)
    • cash flow – only for medium-sized companies
    • statement of changes in equity– only for medium-sized companies
  • Preparation of PD and PDV-k forms at the end of the fiscal year

Finance and Accounting Consulting Services

  • Giving suggestions, settlement and management of tax liabilities, always in accordance with the law
  • Keeping track of the latest tax regulations and ensuring timely application
  • Preparation of a new or screening of the existing business system, with suggestions for improvement
  • Consultancy services concerning IT system implementation
  • Legacy IT system screening, and preparation of proposals for improvement or upgrading in cooperation with your IT expert.
